7th Sense Paranormal use a range of equipment through out the investigations, the most commonly used kit is listed below. We encourage guests to bring and use their own gadgets should they want to. We have 2 technical team members who create and build custom equipment for 7th Sense Paranormal and are always on hand to answer any questions or give advice.

Spirit Boards
The ouija, also known as a spirit board or talking board, is a flat board marked with the letters of the alphabet, the numbers 0–9, the words “yes”, “no”, “hello” (occasionally), and “goodbye”, along with various symbols and graphics. It uses a planchette (a small sometimes heart-shaped piece of wood or plastic) as a movable indicator to indicate a spirit’s message by spelling it out on the board during a séance. Participants place their fingers on the planchette, and it is moved about the board to spell out words.
Pendulums
A simple pendulum is a very ordinary little device. What you are doing is communicating with your higher self, and accessing Divine Guidance when you do it. You do not need to have any sort of spiritual experience to do this, as it will work for you regardless. Thought moves the pendulum and thought directs the subconscious as to the direction in which the pendulum is to move. When spirit is communicating through the responses of the pendulum, it is the subconscious part of your mind that is moving the pendulum, not spirit. Spirit answers through the subconscious.
Dowsing rods
Dowsing rods operate on the theory that the unconscious mind can detect the subtle energy presence. Dowsing has existed in various forms for thousands of years. Originally it may have been used for the purpose of, defining the will of the gods or to foretell the future. During the Middle Ages the dowsing rods were used for the purpose of dowsing for the truth in trials but this was stopped in the early 1700s as it was thought to be associated with the devil. Dowsing may be defined as the communication of subtle energies and information perceived by one’s extended senses and the unconscious mind.
Spirit Boxes
Spirit boxes also known as Ghost Boxes or a Frank’s box are used as an electronic medium for the purpose of direct communication with a spirit. When used by a properly trained individual, under certain circumstances, the spirit box will make use of radio frequency energy and provide results similar that of an EVP recorder, but in real time. Forward or Reverse radio frequency “sweep” technique coupled with high frequency synthetic or white noise is used by professional investigators in the field of Paranormal Research.
EVP recorders
Electronic voice phenomena (EVP) are sounds found on electronic recordings that are interpreted as spirit voices that have been either unintentionally recorded or intentionally requested and recorded. Audio recorders are a staple investigation tool for recording EVP.
K2 / EMF meters
The K2 meter also known as the “Safe Range” EMF, is an electromagnetic field meter. The Display is made up of five LED lights that divides the meter’s measurements from green to red in strength. Communication with spirit is achieved by asking various questions, and the spirits (or other entity) would answer by causing the LEDs to flash.
REM Pod
Paranormal phenomenon can distort electromagnetic fields. A rem pod (7th Sense Paranormal has their own design) monitors the electromagnetic environment, alerting you with sound and multi-coloured led lights when a change has occurred.
Grid Pens
A grid pen is a way of splitting a laser into many single points of light. If you put a laser grid against a wall or light up a room and if something passes in front of it, sections of the grid will be blacked out. Great for detecting movement, shadows, or solid shapes moving in the room.
Laser thermometers
Fluctuation in temperature is often one tell-tale sign of the possible presence of paranormal activity. More specifically, significant drops in temperature that are known as “cold spots” are often experienced. With many environmental and other factors possible causes for such temperature variations, diagnosing its source, or eliminating other factors, is an important step in evaluating the situation and concluding the existence of evidence supporting paranormal phenomena.
